Café & Bar
Ovalhouse Café Bar
The Ovalhouse café bar is fully licensed with free Wi-Fi, and has a comfortable and creative atmosphere; you can come in, have a drink before the show and relax! Our Cafe is at the heart of Ovalhouse and there is always something going on; be it an exhibition in the Gallery, a band night or a live art installation! The café serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks; we have an excellent beer selection and a variety of wines and spirits to choose from.
Mazí Mas roaming restaurant
We're delighted to welcome Mazí Mas back to Ovalhouse: they'll be here on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until our autumn season opens on Weds 7 October, when they'll be open every theatre evening.
Mazi Mas is a roaming restaurant that brings exciting , authentic and global home cooking to the public, and in so doing creates employment opportunities for aspiring women food entrepreneurs from migrant and refugee communities. They'll be taking over our cafe with delicious menus from around the world – including Senegal, Peru, Philippines, Brazil, and Ethiopia – changing daily as each chef brings tastes and stories from her country to Ovalhouse theatre goers. BOOKING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
