Our licensed café/bar is open from 6-11pm from Tuesday-Saturday during theatre seasons for a cold beer, coffee and cake, a home-cooked Caribbean meal, or a bottle of wine.
The café/bar is also our Gallery, hosting a wonderful array of free visual art shows which change monthly: check our Gallery page for details.

The food served in the café is an extension of the Oval House identity; it is about fusion, difference and inclusion.

Our menu consists of affordable world fusion food, freshly prepared in the Oval House kitchen by our experienced catering team.
As well as offering a full menu every theatre night from 6pm, the Oval kitchen has gained a well deserved reputation for its alternative style of corporate catering; previous clients include: Talawa Theatre, Royal National Theatre, Cardboard Citizens, British American Drama Academy, BBC, NITRO Theatre, Adzido Pan African Dance Ensemble, Independent Theatre Council, Canadian High Commission.
