Arts Education
Oval House Theatre Arts in Education is committed to providing exciting and challenging arts opportunities for children and young people in and out of schools and supporting the adults who work with them.
Oval House has a reputation for developing high quality arts opportunities for young people including some of the most excluded young people in Lambeth, Southwark and beyond. We have a history of working in partnership with schools and other agencies to develop creative strategies for the curriculum and for personal development.
Oval House is a lead partner in Flight Paths an arts in education training programme for exiled artists and created Back on Track, an innovative arts programme for young people who are at risk of or excluded from education and Living Here, a participatory arts project for young refugees and asylum seekers. The company has developed creative approaches to Citizenship and PHSE in schools and has delivered a range of INSET for teachers, youth workers and mentors.
