Please note that the advertised times are the start of the actual performance, not the time when doors open: please arrive in good time to collect your tickets and take your seats as, in most cases, we CANNOT admit latecomers for whatever reason. If you arrive after the start of a show you will NOT be entitled to a refund, so why not come early instead and enjoy a drink or a meal in our licensed Cafe/Gallery beforehand.

Oval House Youth Arts presents

YOUTH ARTS SUMMER SCHOOL 2010

Recruitment now open!

11-16 years old? Love drama and performing? Come and spend 3 weeks learning new skills and work towards an original public performance in the final week in our Summer School.

This year professional Director Tunde Euba will be taking traditional Fairy Tales and infusing them with Fables from an entirely different culture. This will be the only summer show where Cinderella meets Ijapa the Tortoise!

Summer School runs from 2 August -21 August 2010
Rehearsals: Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm
Performances: Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 August

Cost is only £45 for the whole 3 weeks but you must be available for the entire project to be involved.

Anyone interested should leave their name, address, telephone number and e-mail on 020 7582 6279 or email jeanie.reid@ovalhouse.com
The project works on a first-come first-served basis so please contact us and return your forms asap to guarantee your place.

(Our regular Youth Arts Classes for 11-25 year olds will be back
in September 2010. Full details will be on the website later this summer or you can call 020 7582 6279
or email jeanie.reid@ovalhouse.com for
further information.)
