The Red Room presents
Why Are We Afraid of our Young?
A Red Room Platform
An interactive evening of film, performance and debate. Amidst a nationwide epidemic of knives, guns and gangs infesting our communities, the award winning Red Room invites you to participate in a timely platform investigating ‘Why are we afraid of our young?’
Featured artists and speakers include:
film maker Kile Onile-Ere;
performance poet Dean Atta;
Jaheda Choudhury (Ajah Hip Hop Collective);
and young artists from ‘There Ain’t No Black In The Union Jack’
The Red Room Platforms are a gathering of artists, activists and cultural critics from a wide range of perspectives.
"It's a way of bringing people together and to encourage activism, forge alliances and create debate."
Topher Campbell, Artistic Director, The Red Room.
Places are FREE but advance booking is recommended: please click on the 'Buy Tickets' button to reserve your seats.
