Mysteries showcases a selection of paintings by up and coming London based artist Nicholas Peart. In every work on display there is a vast and eternal psychological and emotional landscape containing executions of the mind at different intervals in time. Each painting takes the viewer on a journey to witness these different and forever changing landscapes in all their varying stages.
Calling the exhibition ‘Mysteries’ is apt in the sense that the ‘execution’ of each painting is unexplainable. Through leaving things to chance and allowing the subconscious to take control, there is no real reason to justify what each painting means other than that each was created out of necessity, restless passion and fear. It is through the medium of painting that the artist can express himself best and convey what he is feeling to others much more successfully than through any alternative form.

About The Artist
Nicholas Peart (1983-) is an English artist living and working in London. His work explores the subconscious and projection of human emotions. Once when asked to describe his work he replied, ''I paint my feelings''. For him this is an integral part to understanding his work and its perpetual development.
When not painting, Nicholas writes poetry, which he writes in the same way as he paints; subconsciously and spontaneously. Expressing what he currently feels. Nicholas has also travelled widely. He spent two years travelling across Latin America
Nicholas has exhibited his work extensively around London. Some of the places he has exhibited at include the Real World Gallery, CGP, the House Gallery and the Red Gate Gallery. He is a member of the Espacio Gallery project.
