If you are a writer, actor, producer, dancer, director, designer, or film-maker aged between 17-25, you could be one of our 8 Young Associates to be on placement with us until July 2014.

Young Associates will become a youth steering group for our Co-operative Foundation funded project Truth about Youth (TAY). The project is a national initiative to challenges and changes negative perceptions about young people, by supporting projects which enable them to work with adults, the media and the wider community. As a Young Associate, you will become a Truth about Youth Ambassador, representing Ovalhouse and promoting the positive image of London’s young.
As a Young Associate you will work towards a Silver Arts Award, lead projects and assist in Truth about Youth’s major performances throughout 2013/14.
To apply please email a CV and covering letter, detailing relevant experience (previous placements/castings/education and training) and telling us why you think you would make a strong Young Associate for Truth about Youth. Please clearly state on the letter your preferred strand (eg. Director).
Please note this is NOT a full-time placement but the demands are high, the rewards higher and a strong level of commitment is required.
