The Rhyming Guide to Radical Brixton

A Spoken Word tour with Potent Whisper

  • Friday 22 Sept 7pm, Saturday 23 Sept 2pm & 4pm

Venue: Meet at our Festivals Hub, 20 Atlantic Road

Join rapper and activist Potent Whisper on a rhyming tour of radical Brixton!

There is a gentrification war happening in London and Brixton is on the front line. Co-leader of the Save Brixton Arches campaign and founder the Our Brixton community group, Potent Whisper has been a key figure in the communities fight against the demolition of social housing estates and mass evictions of small family businesses.

Meet at our Festivals Hub (the former Brixton Food Court, 20 Atlantic Road). Visit key locations, hear stories of community resistance and celebrate the history of radical Brixon!

Each guide last 1 hour and ends at Windrush Square with a Spoken Word/Grime performance.

FREE, just come along - no need to book.
